Loft.

Your data, in plain English

No legalese. Here’s what actually happens to your information.

The stuff you put into an app

Whatever you log inside a Loft app — habits, notes, ratings, entries — is saved in your own browser, on your own device. It isn’t uploaded to us, and it isn’t shared with the person who made the app or with anyone you share it with. Clear your browser storage and it’s gone.

When an app uses AI

Some apps include an AI helper. When you use it, the text you give it is sent to our server and on to our AI provider so it can answer — so that part does notstay only on your device, and those requests may be logged to keep the service running safely. Don’t put anything into an AI feature you wouldn’t be comfortable sending to a server.

Your email

If you sign in or join the early-access list, we store your email to send your magic link and the occasional update. We don’t sell it or share it for advertising.

Apps you publish

Publishing makes an app reachable at a public link, so anyone with the URL can open and use it. The app’s design is public; the data each visitor enters still stays on their own device. You can take an app down at any time from My apps.
